1. ซักมือ : แช่ผ้าในน้ำผสมผงซักฟอกหรือน้ำยาซักผ้าสักพัก แล้วขยำผ้าให้ทั่ว ไม่ต้องขยี้ผ้าแรง เสร็จแล้วล้างด้วยน้ำเปล่าให้สะอาด หลังจากนั้นแช่ผ้าในน้ำยาปรับผ้านุ่มผสมน้ำด้วยก็ดี ผ้าจะได้หอมและนุ่มยิ่งขึ้น แล้วจึงนำไปตากให้แห้ง

2. ซักในเครื่องซักผ้า : นำผ้าใส่ในถุงตาข่ายสำหรับซักผ้าก่อนนำไปซักในเครื่อง (ไม่ควรซักรวมกับผ้าที่มีสีตกและเปื้อนเยอะ)
